Overstream

To facilitate communication between users, I have added a link to the Forum Profile from the Overstream Profile page (e.g., my overstream profile). The link is at the bottom of the Overstream Profile box on the left, "See Forum Profile". The Forum Profile also links back to the Overstream Profile.

This will allow users to leave Private Messages for other users relying on the forum mechanisms of communication. Also, you can enable receiving emails via Overstream Forum by clicking on the Profile link at the top of this page and selecting Yes for "Always show my e-mail address:" (which I am pretty sure is a misnomer, because no email address is being shown, only a button leading to a webform through which the others can send you email). In any case, if you have that checked, the "email" button will appear in your Forum Profile page and others will be able to send you email via the forum.

I know ideally there should only be one profile, but for now I am simply increasing the amount of interconnectedness between Overstream Site and Overstream Forum.

I believe we couldnt even access our forum profile from the forum itself, before. Great news! Now I'd be even cooler if you added a way to see our posts stats, I had to use the search feature to find some posts I had written and that I wanted to link on the one I was writing.

Sorry about last post. You see, the "profile" link on the top of the forum directs me to an "edit your profile" page, not a "view your profile" one (which indeed shows a list of posts by me). I actually had to click on the link in my overstream profile to view my forum profile... can you fix that issue? I mean, make the wording of the link in the forum a little more intuitive, at least. but preferably, you could use the same concept as the logout link, I'm thinking of something like this:
