|
|
We just released a small update which mainly consists of Overstream Editor v0.62.
This update features:
* Overstream Editor: Overstream Renaming (the long-awaited feature that should have been there from the beginning).
* Overstream Editor: Fix for the SRT export (Flash Player 10 included new security restrictions which prevented files from being saved).
* Overstream Editor: Overstreams in the list are sorted by Most Recent first (by modification date).
* Overstream Editor: In Options, no more Save/Cancel buttons, those we might have later when the option settings are saved to the server, but otherwise don't make sense.
* Fix for the Deleted Myspace videos problem.

The renaming option is AWESOME! xD Thanks for adding the feature to the new version. =)
Another thing, can you consider adding more video hosts in the future? I know OS works with Google videos, YouTube, and DailyMotion. Can you add Veoh to the list, too? Just a thought.
Thanks for all you do! =D |

| Nice features. But I'd really appreciate if you could enable to write with accents. I put subtitles in Spanish and it's very awkward to be constantly copying and pasting the áéíúó ñ. It slow down the process a lot. |

I added your voice to the already existing request for the "Special Chars Tool" feature, and the list of characters your propose.
However, for the Spanish chars I would assume that you can just switch your keyboard layout to Spanish and then these chars would be available somewhere? I don't know how this works with spanish, but I am a russian speaker and am used to switching the keyboard layouts between english/russian all the time... must be similar for spanish? |

| I'm glad that you are open to new features. I use a spanish keyboard and have a special key for the accent, also I have the keys for the Ñ and the ¿ , even the French accents are available, but they are not recognized by the program. |

| By the way, the only character that's recognized is ¿ and this is not part of an english keyboard, isn't it strange? |

| Pfff, I found the problem, it's the ubuntu that don't recongnize those accents and the Ñ, I tried with winxp and I can write with accents. Well this seems to be a linux issue then and don't know if this can be solved, but would be great. |

Argh, this sounds like a bug in the flash player for linux. I would try updating the flash player to the latest version if you haven't yet. But I am not too surprised it's happening, having seen a lot of bugs with flash and keyboard layouts...
Ironic that you'd be having keyboard problems with that username, Klavier |
